Iran Opens Strait Of Hormuz For All Commercial Vessels, Trump Says ‘Thank You’

In a significant development amid ongoing regional tensions, Iran has announced that the will remain fully open to all commercial vessels during the duration of the Lebanon ceasefire.

Iran’s Foreign Minister, , stated that the decision aligns with the temporary ceasefire agreement and is aimed at easing maritime restrictions in one of the world’s most critical shipping routes. He confirmed that vessels can transit through the strait via previously coordinated routes set by Iran’s maritime authorities.

The announcement follows a 10-day ceasefire agreement between and , reportedly facilitated by the United States. U.S. President welcomed Iran’s move, publicly thanking Tehran and expressing hope for continued stability during the ceasefire period.

Trump also urged to respect the truce and avoid further escalation. As part of ongoing diplomatic efforts, invitations have been extended to Israeli Prime Minister and Lebanese President for talks at the White House.
