Police conduct raids at multiple locations in Shopian


Srinagar: Police on Thursday conducted searches at residences of Jamaat e Islami members in various locations on South Kashmir’s Shopian district.

A senior police officer told news agency JKNS that shopian Police conduct raids at various places, including the residences of former Hurriyat leaders, in connection with case FIR No. 9/2024 of PS Shopian under Sections 10 and 13 of the UAPA.

He said that searches are going on at multiple locations in district.

He further added that such raids were conducted at multiple locations in the last few days as well.
